Welcome Friends – 4 Legged And Otherwise 0

Dec1

It really is a dog’s life isn’t it?  My life has been quite an adventure so far and I’m not even two years old yet.  My humans love me to death and I give them big sloppy kisses to let them know that I feel the same way about them.

I’m still growing into my paws and my long gangly legs.  They are always in my way but I’ve mastered them without too much embarassement.

Apparently, I do some goofy ass stuff – it seems my humans are always laughing at the silly things I do.  But hey, it gave them the idea to create a line of custom t-shirts staring – you guessed it – ME!  How many other dogs can say that?  Well, maybe Lassie or perhaps Snoopy and Scoobie Doo…OK so maybe I’m not as unique as I thought but it’s still pretty cool to get noticed.  If this keeps up, I’ll have to dorn a pair of sunglasses just to walk down the street in hopes of avoiding the crowds. And I don’t know how much more my paws can take from all those autographs. LOL

Basking in the Sun 0

My humans are always going on and on about their winter vactions in the Carribean and how nice it is to get some sun in the Winter months. I don’t know what all the fuss is about. If they would just crouch down here with me on the floor in the kitchen, they’d save themselves a bundle.

I Can Be Resourceful 0

Boy did I have to think quick on my feet this week. With all the rain outside, our basement flooded during the night. My sleeping quarters are downstairs and when I noticed that my sleep was interrupted by rising water, I headed for higher ground – the treadmill. LOL Thankfully my humans awoke quickly so I was only there for a few minutes.

My humans joked that the treadmill has been used for many things, including a clothes rack – but never a raft!

Think I’ll take advantage of sleeping upstairs with my family while things dry out downstairs.

Uh-oh. My bad. I was a little silly coming in the patio door and my clumsy paw caught the edge of my full water dish. There was water from one end of the kitchen to the other, up the cabinets, on the kitchen table, all over the floor. By the look of my humans face, she wasn’t very impressed. Guess I’m in the “dawg house”.

If ever there was a human that I thought could capture my best side, it would be Stacey from Cold Nose Photo.  You only have to take one look at her work and you’re hooked.  Look at the photos she took of some of my homies.  Makes me wish we lived closer together so I could look this good too.

If you ever make it to Canada Stacey, “sniff” me out.  If we ever take a road trip to Cape Cod, we’ll look you up.
